The secoundary mycelium that is involved in the formation of the mushroom fruitbody.
Tetrapolar:
Of the four spored basidia, having or located at four poles.
Thermogenesis:
Process of heat generation by micro orgamisms.
Thermophile:
An organism that thrives in the temperature range 75-140ºF.
Trama:
The fleshy part of the cap between the fertile spore bearing layers and the cap cuticle of the mushroom gill.
Translucent:
Semitransparent.
Tubes:
The downward facing cluster of tubes within which the spores are produced in the boletus and Polypores.
